Rolex Red Submariner 1680 Offered at Bob’s Auction

Bob’s Watches first since forever auction finished today following a fourteen day offering window arrived at an end.  More than 120 individuals registered for the auction, which was by greeting only.  The fortunate few had the option to put offers on a vintage Rolex red letter Submariner 1680 Mark IV Dial around 1970.  Needless to say this watch required no presentation for the numerous gatherers and private vendors who watched closely.

The present reference 1680 is a stunning illustration of Rolex’s previous creation, highlighting the matte dial with smooth markers and coordinating hands. It bids on account of its spotless and very much safeguarded unique condition and the appealing matured patina markers.  A picture of the auctioned watch can be seen to the right.
