USP

  • A more reasonable choice among generous, retro-styled jumper watches.
  • Not the typical 200 meters of water obstruction that means 656.168 feet. The Oceanographer is worked to arrive at a profundity of 666 feet precisely; henceforth the name.

Why such a name?

The number 666, in current mainstream society, is a generally – likely the most – perceived image for the Antichrist; the Devil. Surely, you can’t purportedly conjure Satan or the Devil wearing one of these; neither will they bring you down to the profundities of Hell. Yet, in all honesty, you can wear it bravely to terrible climates on the land or under the ocean and still think that its sparkling, sparkling and acting in a magnificent way even long after the experience ends.

Getting to the Devil… heartbroken, the details

The thought of once again introducing old watches from their program is a thought Bulova had hit a long while back; the Devil Diver showed up again, in light of one of their vintage plans. The Oceanographer Devil Diver from the 1970s is a restricted release watch that is verifiably exact; more precise than numerous other supposed re-issues.

The Bulova Oceanographer got its popularity not for being a piece of any extraordinary submerged mission; nor was it something that incredible jumpers wore consistently. It shows no new mechanical creation in the realm of submerged timekeeping. However, indeed, it conveys the vibe of being an aquanaut (as Bulova claims it and well, it does that up to an extraordinary arrangement) and causes you to feel like one, in spite of swimming isn’t actually the most spectacular movement for submerged exploration.

Whether the old Oceanographer or the upgraded one; they are incredible watches okay, however so are (and were) numerous different watches of today and the yesteryear. Bulova applied a somewhat precarious methodology here; they chose to print the profundity rating on the dial. In this manner seemed the moniker of the Devil Diver! It’s positively more intriguing than setting up Snorkel or something comparable alone.

There’s a more thing to the Devil Diver, which separates it from the remainder of the jump (or plunge styled) and no, that is not its bi-shading, pivoting bezel. Investigate the hour markers and incredibly, you’ll see they are installed, straightforward cylinders/chambers, loaded up with brilliant material!

How Bulova depicts the Oceanographer

All that been said and heard, we should end with something different that Bulova once talked about the Devil Diver :

The Bulova Oceanographer is intended for the one who is fearless. Or on the other hand, marginally crazy!
