The Rolex Air King Intairdrill Wristwatch

The vintage Rolex ref 5500 Pool Intairdril Dial watch was delivered in the last part of the 1970s. Despite the fact that the Air King flaunts a long history tracing all the way back to the 1930s, this particular Air King is special. Ref 5500 wears a lovely silver dial with applied gold or dark twirly doo hour markers and iridescent specks. Most importantly, the dial includes the name Rolex Oyster Perpetual Air-King underneath the 12 o’clock mark and the Pool Intairdrill or “petroleum” logo over the 6 o’clock mark. The Rolex Air King Background

The Rolex Air King is a special group of watches at first made during the 1930s, however put on the map during World War II.
